Episode 20: Scott McKeen/Why do Men try so Hard?

This podcast started in April of 2016, and today will mark its 20th episode. The man you will hear today, the 19th man on this show, is the unique counselor for downtown Edmonton, the intelligent Scott McKeen. Before he was elected to the municipal office, Scott was one of the most respected journalists in Edmonton, his beat being the goings on at City Hall. So not only does Scott have experience as a politician but his interview will also come from the experience of the ever-watchful journo. Into being elected, Scott has championed Mental Health and urban Isolation, and through this interview will share a lot of interesting thoughts about vulnerability, and how that has affected his view of how he shapes his manhood.

We talked in his office about Vespas, male impotence, MenSheds, and spaces. It was fun, relaxing, and I hope you enjoy it.

In 2017, my aim is to have more of those questions answered, more men of all kinds listen to the show, ask questions of themselves, join me to share their own stories, learn more from them, learn more from you, and then spread that knowledge.

Stick with me, there’s going to be a lot more where that came from.

I could not do this show without the amazing support from Men Edmonton. Not only that, support from other local ventures like Night Vision, Northern Content Network, and Seen and Heard Edmonton.
